Ran my first half marathon in October 2011 (Halloween Half)
Ran with my sister Ann and her friend Erika. Pretty funny because we all trained together and on race day we were ALL just barley pregnant. I was 6 or 7 weeks. Not great timing because race day I was SO sick and nauseous, but once we got running I was okay. We did have to stop for a bathroom break in the middle. It was a really fun race, we dressed up like jail birds. It was so fun to see all the racers in crazy costumes. The best costume was a guy running in a fully enclosed shower. I can't even imagine running 13 miles wearing that!
It is a great coarse. Really pretty, with the first 5 miles downhill.
I think I will defiantly run that race again. I did find out that is the longest distance I will probably ever run. No marathons for me. My time was 2:10 that includes the 10 min bathroom break
