Happy 70th DAD!!

Today my Dad turns 70 years old!! WOW, and as strong and healthy as ever! I look up to my Dad for being such a hard worker, for being so strong in the gospel, for raising 10 children, and for always striving to be physically fit, even if it means going to the gym every morning before work at 5AM. Dad you are such a great example, and I love you so much!! Happy Birthday!!

WHO KNEW??

No one really talks about hunger post-pregnancy, however I was completely unprepared for this Breastfeeding Hunger. I have never been this hungry in my life. I'm hungry all of the time. Once I finish breakfast I'm thinking about mid-morning snack, then lunch etc, etc. This is craziness!! Not to mention the chocolate cravings I have been having. I usually I'm not tempted by chocolate, and now I'm trying to figure out how to add chocolate to everything I eat. I catch my self eating the bag of chocolate chips in the cupboard. If the dog was covered in chocolate I would totally eat him! I remember being really hungry the 1st trimester of pregnancy and having to wake up at night for a snack, this even trumps the pregnancy hunger. I'm always having a midnight snack. Also I am extremely thirsty! Every time I sit down to nurse, as SOON as the baby latches on, I immediately get SUPER thirsty. It happens every time but I can never remember to get a drink BEFORE I sit down. Poor Kevin is always fetching me a glass of water. It got to where HE will remind me before I start nursing to get my water bottle. Man this is crazy stuff your body goes through. I'm just trying to eat healthy snacks and not over do it on the chocolate. Fortunately chocolate doesn't give my baby a tummy ache or I would be in trouble. Happy Breastfeeding!

BooYA.. Lets go running!!

YAY!! I got a killer deal on this jogging stroller on ksl.com. I'm super excited for the weather to get a little warmer so I can take Paisley and Tanky boyz on runs, and get into shape. Yahoo!!

I LOVE my Valentine!!

Happy valentines day! Such a great day to remind each other how much we love and care about each other. Kevin is the best Valentine. We have so much fun together. He has the best sense of humor and is always keeping me laughing. He is the best husband, and now such a good daddy! I hope everyone had a great day with your loved ones.

Paisley is ONE month OLD!

Paisley is one month old today. Wow, that month went by really fast. We have been having SO much fun with our new little addition. She is such a good baby and she makes us so happy. We just can't get enough of her. We love to cuddle her, give her tons of loves and kisses. She is growing so big at her 2 week apt she was 8lbs 14 oz and 21 inches. She gained a pound since we left the hospital. I weighed her today and she is 11lbs.

We love all the funny faces she makes, and when she smiles in her sleep. We love that when she gets mad she snorts, or does this little fake cough. We love our sweet little baby, and LOVE being parents!! We have been busy getting our house put together, relaxing, having a lot of visitors, spending time with family. Life is good for us!
