Kevin Birthday & MOAB

So Kevin had a birthday March 9th. We had a some friends over to BBQ steak , pineapple, asparagus. We had rosotto, and roasted potatoes. It was a yummy dinner. We even had a cookies and cream ice cream cake with all 29 candles on it! WAHOO!! Kev got some new shoes and clothes for his birthday.

Paisley was excited about the birthday song and candles. She has crazy hair because of course she rubbed her dinner all over in it, and we tried to wipe it out.

We were dying to get out of town. So that weekend we took off to Moab with the Peterson family. We had so much fun. It was nice to get out of the cold. It was about 68 degrees.

The Windows

Check this out!! Across from our hotel this China Cafe was offering food $1.75 a scoop. Doesn't that sound delicious?? haha GROSS!

Shopping the little shops on main street

Hiking up to the Delicate Arch. Kevin carried the baby up and I carried her down. Was not to bad with the hiking backpack we borrowed from my brother
Pete-Wyatt & Hayley

Our little family under the Arch

I Love the Delicate Arch. SO BEAUTIFUL!!

Balanced rock Both babies were SO sleepy on the way down the mountain. They fussed for a little bit and then fell asleep in the backpack. Wyatt's face was planted into the backpack and Paisleys neck was kinked to the side. But they slept the whole way down.
Paisley's first sleepover. Hanging out with her buddy Wyatt in the hotel room. We stayed at La Quinta Inn. It was a pretty nice little place. Greg Miller was staying at the same Hotel. We saw him each morning at breakfast.
We ate at Zax, pizza joint off of Main Street. It was really good!

What a fun spontaneous weekend trip! I did learn that it is a little more tricky traveling with babies. They were off schedules for naps, and had a hard time sleeping at night time in the hotel. But I would go again in a heartbeat. I love weekend trips, getting out of town , and doing something active!!

Mommy's little helper

Lately Paisley has been loving to help me with chores around the house. She will help me put dishes in the dishwasher, put clothes in the dryer, wash the floor under her highchair, clean up her toys. She will throw anything in the garbage for us, go put her Binky in her bed after she wakes up. She just learned where we keep Tank's treats and will go over to the cupboard open it and get him a treat and go feed it to him. She is getting SO big I can't believe how much we can communicate with her now and she totally understands. She is starting to talk more everyday. Her new words are: (Yellow- Uh Oh-Cheese-Stinky- night night) This is a really fun age. I love it!!

Her favorite thing to do latley is COLOR. She LOVES her doodle pad, and

any paper, pens, crayons or markers she can get her hands on.

This was first thing in the morning after she woke up. Notice the bed head and PJ's
