Girls camp was a riot this year! We had a lot of fun and definitely some craziness to go along with it. But what is girls camp with out a little craziness and some adventure. We camped at soldier summit camp sites on the way to Price. We played a lot of games, ate a lot of yummy food, had a lot of spiritual and bonding moments. One of our girls cracked her head open on a table and had to go to the hospital and get the cut glued shut, she ended up being okay and was able to come back to camp but on the way back the canyon was shut down because of a fatal car accident. So they did not make it back to camp until 4 in the morning. A couple of our girls got sick with the 24 hr flu bug. We were grateful it was not the swine flu. The last night at camp the girls decided to all squeeze into one tent, that was the night it poured rain all night and one girl threw up in the tent at 4 in the morning and the girls tent was flooding from the rain. The girls came and got one of the leaders and she had them get into the car with there pillows and try to sleep. That same night there was a bear in the camp site up the hill from us. The next day we packed up to go home and the dirt roads were still really muddy from the rain so we had to wait for them to dry out a little so we could get off the mountain safely. This was a little of the craziness! It ended up being a good time, and I think all the girls had fun. Its amazing the bond and relationship these girls have with each other, you can tell even though they will all go there separate ways they will always be good friends.
