Cooking Ideas

Okay everyone, I need some good healthy cooking ideas for dinner. Kevin and I seem to have the same 5 things for dinner over and over. I need some new ideas. We usually have:

-Tacos, burritos, or fajitas

- Pasta, green Salad

-Chicken, rice and veggies

-Chicken stir fry

- Chicken pot pie, which is one of our favorites, but it can get old if you make it to often. I will share this recipe with you, it is the best comfort food.

2 months old

My baby is 2 months old!! She is growing so fast, and is as cute as ever! We took her in today for her Doctor checkup. She had to get 3 shots in her legs, it was really sad to see those big tears. The Doc said she is looking really good and healthy. Here are her measurements:

Height 23.2" 75%

Weight 11.6 lbs 60%

Head 15.2" 50%

She is such a great eater, and is doing awesome sleeping through the night.We put her in her own room in her crib a couple weeks ago and she has been sleeping 7-8 hours at night (knock on wood). She really has been such a good baby and we have so much fun with her.

A few things she likes to do:

-Go on walks with Tanky boyz

-Listen to baby tunes on daddies ipod when falling asleep at night

-Talking (cooing)

-Loves us to read her stories

-Loves baths

-Cuddling

-Loves to watch the Jazz games with her dad

-staring at ceiling fans

-Loves her pacifier

-stretching

-Loves to chill in her vibrating chair

- SMILES

- she just discovered her hands, and always wants them in her mouth

-holds her head up really well

Paisley is really starting to smile at us a lot, and is starting to make all sorts of little sounds. It is so cute. She is really happy in the morning time. I tried to catch some of these moments on camera. She seems to stop right when I pull the camera out, but here are a few smiley faces.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEVIN!!!

Today is Kevin's 28th birthday!! We went on a date to his favorite restaurant, can anyone guess where??...........Yep, Chin Wah We got Phoenix chicken and ham fried rice.Then we went home and he opened some gifts and had some cake and ice cream, with our friends Pete and Hayley. We celebrated with his family last weekend. Happy birthday Kev, I hope you had a great day! We LOVE you so much! You are such a great husband and daddy!

Paisley's Blessing Day

Today was Paisley's baby blessing. Kevin gave her a sweet blessing and we had family and friends over for lunch. It was a really good day. My good friend Hayley made Paisley's dress and bonnet it turned out super cute. My niece Alexis made the lace flowers. Thanks for your help everyone. She looked like a little princess!
