Kevin's Golf Trip

This past weekend was the 2nd annual St. George golf trip that I go on with my buddies. It started last year as kind of a bachelor party for Tony Poole and we decided that we should go every year. We stayed at a really nice condo on the Sunbrook Golf Course. Over the 3 days we played 63 holes of golf. 27 at Sunbrook the first day, 18 at Coral Canyon the second day, and 18 at Sky Mountain the last day. It was a lot of fun. We sat in the hot tub every night so that we wouldn't be sore. We ate really unhealthy and played a lot of X box. It was a great time. We are all looking forward to next year already..

Snowbird Getaway

Kevin and I spent the weekend at Snowbird resort to celebrate our anniversary. We had a really good time. We went up on Friday night and ate dinner at the Wild Flower restaurant, it was Italian and it was really good food with a fabulous view of the canyon. The trees are starting to change color and it is SO beautiful. Also the smell up there is amazing, there was a strong scent of fresh pine trees. It had just rained so everything smelt so fresh and so clean, clean! :) The temperature was about 54-58 degrees so it was kinda chilly. After dinner we got some hot apple cider and went to sit in the hot tub. We brought season two of 24 up with us so we could pull an all nighter and watch a bunch of episodes. Our hotel room didn't have a DVD player so the front desk brought us one. We watched the first episode then we couldn't figure out how to skip to the next one because the only buttons on the DVD player were PLAY, STOP and OPEN/CLOSE of course the episode we just watched was so intense and left us hanging we had to find a way to watch the next one. We called the front desk and asked if they had a remote or something that could switch to the next episode. THEY DIDN'T. So, we were left hanging. That's okay we started watching them again when we got home. If you have never seen these series don't start, because you can't stop!! haha Okay so on Saturday we went and had the best breakfast then went on the tram ride up the canyon, rode the mechanical bull, walked around Oktoberfest. Hung out waiting for the other rides to open because it was pretty rainy and they couldn't run the zip line or the alpine slide with the rain. It never stopped raining so we didn't get to do those rides, but that's okay maybe next time. But I did get a killer deal on a jacket I liked!! We had an awesome time. We love it up there!!
