Paisley June

Yay!! Paisley is here! We got all moved into our house over the weekend and stayed in our new house on Sunday night for the first time. Monday I went with my mom down to Payson to my Aunts house to use her quilting machine to sew Paisleys quilt. I was having contractions all day but nothing super painful, or close together. That night my contractions got stronger, I took a shower and went to bed around 11:30. I woke Kevin up at 1:30AM because my contractions were 5 mins apart and pretty strong. We grabbed our bags and dropped Tank off at Kevin's parents house and headed for the hospital, Kevin was really nervous and was speeding and running red lights to get me to the hospital fast. It was really funny! I was getting really nauseous and shaky. By the time we got to the hospital my contractions were every 2 mins. I was shaking and throwing up, my contractions were SO painful. The nurse checked me and I was only dilated to a 3.5 cm. She said we are going to wait 1 hour and if I don't dilate more they will have to send me home with some pain meds. I was like NO WAY, my body better start dilating. She came back in 1 hour and I was at a 5, she said I could stay and they came and gave me and epidural at 4:00 AM. Then it was really slow from there. I was at a 5cm for like 3-4 hours the doc came in to break my water and he said it had already broke. They gave me pitocin to speed up the processes and I pushed for one hour, she came on Jan 5th at 1:58 PM. She was 8.4 lbs 20 inches. She is a super healthy, happy baby. We are so lucky to have her!
