Who knew a wedding ring could be so dangerous?

WARNING: (Picture is a little nasty, don't look if you have a weak stomach)
So last Sunday we were over at Kev's parents house for dinner and we were playing out side with the kids on the swing set. They have a tall metal swing set in there back yard. Kevin was messing around and grabbed the side of each pole and started to shimmy up the "A" of the swing set. His ring got caught on bolt at the top and his ring cut into his finger. We could tell that the cut was not super deep, but his finger started to swell pretty bad and his ring was getting tight. I was worried that if it continued to swell it would cut off the circulation and he would loose his finger. So I made him go into the Insta care and have them look at it. We got in there and Kevin was really embarrassed that I made him go in and how it happened. The Doc said we definitely need to cut the ring off because most likely your finger will swell more tonight. So he went and got the ring cutter and came back with this old school tool that looked like a manual can opener. Keep in mind Kevin's ring is Titanium (really hard to cut through) the Doc worked on it for about 15 Min's then his arm was getting tired so he got an assistant to work on it. Him and Kevin took turns trying to cut off the ring for about 45 Min's. It was hard work, they were honestly sweating. I had to get pictures because it was pretty funny. Finally it cut through and they cleaned up his cut and we were on our way. It was pretty crazy. We are going to have to get Kevin a new wedding ring.

He was getting tired so Kevin held the handles tight with he twisted the lever.

He was working hard. Just look at that face!

Yah! Finally got it off

wow... that is pretty bad. I've heard of things sort of things happening to alot of guys. My dad knows a guy who lost his finger because his ring got caught on something. It is funny to me that you never hear it happening to women??
